Neighbor told me that some people on the block take care of him. I just moved here and opened the door one afternoon to him literally trying to force his way in.

I resisted Initially, but he seemed to know I was a sucker. He kept insisting to come inside.

I eventually gave up trying to keep him out. In the beginning, he would eat some food and leave.

Then it progressed to him emotionally manipulating me to give him a churo everyday. Now after a few weeks, he's taught himself how to come through the cat door.

He's coming in like he owns the place. Last pics are of him napping next to me on the couch yesterday.

My cats are jealous but they tolerate him. He's super cute and reminds me of a bobcat.
  • 12
I feel sorry for him. He behaves like a normal cat and is very chatty so even though he's eartipped, he definitely had a home at one time.
  • 13
    He's a sweet boy.
  • 14
BigRefrigerator9783 I can't stop giggling over "he emotionally manipulated me into giving him a churo every day"
  • 15
OP Sabu_Johnson He goes over to the Churo box and cries like he is dying. He knows all the tricks!

catsinspace112 When you are this gorgeous everyone is a sucker
  • 17
OP Sabu_Johnson Yes, he's definitely a supermodel cat. It's a shame he got eartipped. His intact ear has a really cute wisp of fur at the top.

aaantoniaaa_ What does eartipped mean? I see the difference in the ears but I'm curious about the significance? Thanks!

OP Sabu_Johnson It's meant to show that he's neutered. Somebody took him to the vet and got him neutered, then they released him back out on the street. It's meant to be used for feral cats that can't be adopted, but this guy is definitely an adoptable cat. I guess whoever got him neutered didn't realize that he's super friendly or they didn't have the time and/or resources to find a home for him.

OhMamaWembanyana OP can't you adopt him?
  • 21
OP Sabu_Johnson I still don't know if he's someone's outside cat. He definitely is getting fed elsewhere. Sometimes he comes by and he's not hungry and he will just terrorize me for Churos. But he seems to spend the night outside. Last night was the first night where he came in and slept inside.

iamcrazy4cats What a beautiful boy! Oh his fur looks so thick & soft
  • 23
OP Sabu_Johnson Yes, his fur is very soft and he doesn't shed much!

started_from_the_top Awww you're a sweet person. I'm sure he loves you already.

blanketshapes he looks like Bob. (someone else used to post a NMC named Bob who looked a lot like this)
  • 27
Scotsman1047 Cats are smart like that, they seem to be able to sense which humans will take care of them.
